Co Chairman of the Malta Fine Instrument Foundation. Niam Chauhan is currently one of the world’s youngest violin dealers and started his career at the age of 13. He hopes to become one the world’s next authoritative experts regarding the identification of old and fine instruments. He is a practising luthier, focusing most of his time on setups.
Niam is also a violinist and a student at the Newark School of Violin Making. He has served as the leader of the Westcliff Sinfonia & South Essex Youth Symphony Orchestra for 2 years, and is also a member of the Essex Chamber Orchestra. Besides music, Niam has a prestigious Arkwright Engineering Scholarship, and is a portrait photographer.
