Co Chairman of the Malta Fine Instrument Foundation. Violinist Reggie Clews currently holds the position of Assistant Concertmaster in the Malta Philharmonic Orchestra. He studied at McGill University in Montreal, Canada, under distinguished pedagogues Mauricio Fuchs, now head of strings at Indiana University, and Richard Roberts, Concertmaster of the Orchestre Symphonie de Montreal where he attained an L.Mus. He later worked with the San Diego Symphony, San Diego Chamber Orchestra and San Diego Opera and held the post of Principal Second in the Mozart Classical Orchestra in Newport Beach, CA.
Reggie also performs quite regularly in various chamber music formations and currently leads the Auris String Quartet. He has been featured as a soloist with the Imperial Valley Symphony, North Coast Symphony, Tefareth Israel Orchestra, and the California Consort, while recording several Oscar-Winning film scores and Grammy Award-winning albums in the Hollywood Studios of Los Angeles. In addition to his musical achievements, he has an Associates of Sciences Degree in Business Management.
